We are now looking for a new on-call assistant for our client in central Mjölby

The client lives in her own apartment, uses a wheelchair, and needs assistance with most aspects of daily life.

The client trains frequently, either playing Boccia or working out at the gym. She enjoys planning activities during her free time. Therefore, it is important that you, as an assistant, are active and enjoy cooking.

The client often travels to competitions, which means the schedule may change. There are periods of heavier workload and periods of lighter workload, requiring flexibility.

This is a part-time position. Working hours vary; sometimes you will work a full day (07:00–22:20), or the shift may be split into morning and afternoon. If the client becomes ill, you may need to stay overnight.

Excellent proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written, is required, as the client uses the Bliss communication board to communicate.

Requirements and Security Checks

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at SAAND Assistans is that you can present a valid ID and any documents proving your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

According to legislation, we as employers are required to request a police certificate from all employees working as personal assistants for children under 18. To ensure the safety of our clients at SAAND Assistans, we obtain criminal record extracts from all individuals we hire. Therefore, you must provide a police certificate prior to any potential employment.
