Preschool Operations

Preschool Operations is part of the Education Administration. We work for an equal preschool where every child's right to education is in focus, clarifying professional roles and responsibilities for preschool teachers and childcare assistants. Our vision is that the preschool should support every child regardless of prerequisites so that everyone is given the opportunity to develop towards the goals. Our goal is to offer supportive learning in an inspiring and safe environment that meets the needs of the individual and society. Competence development and networking take place continuously with us. We have a comprehensive overall competence development plan and five study days per year. Preschool Operations has its own special needs educators. All our preschools provide work clothes for both indoor and outdoor use, as part of our effort to increase attendance in the operations.

Job Responsibilities

We are looking for you who want to work as a casual substitute during the absence of regular staff in the preschool areas East and West.

• The Preschool Area East consists of nine preschools located in Borensberg, Österstad, Klockrike, Fornåsa, and Tjällmo, as well as the pedagogical care operation in Motala.
• The Preschool Area West consists of seven preschools located in Motala, Godegård, and Nykyrka.

As a casual substitute with us, you are expected to be able to start working with short notice at various times during the operation's opening hours.

We see that you, as an applicant, have an engagement and curiosity regarding children's development and learning. You are clear and yet sensitive in your way of communicating and have a warm and welcoming approach towards both children, guardians, and colleagues. You have a joyful work approach and good communicative skills, and you can express yourself well in both speech and writing in Swedish.

Qualifications

• A B driver's license and access to a private car are required.
• Advantageous: Upper secondary childcare education, Child and Youth Programme, or other education the employer deems equivalent.
• Advantageous: Experience working with children in preschool or other work that the employer deems equivalent.

• Form of Employment: Fixed-term employment.
• Duration/End Date: Start date is ongoing, ends 2026-09-30.
• Working Hours: Working hours vary during the operation's opening hours 06:00–18:00.
