Särnmark's headquarters are in Sundbyberg, but we also have offices in other parts of Sweden.
We are now looking for personal assistants for a client living in Linköping.
About the job as a personal assistant
As a personal assistant, you work closely with a person with a disability in their daily life. You assist and support the person both in everyday life and during leisure time. Your workplace is wherever the client is, and your overall task is to assist the client so that they have the conditions to live the life they desire.
Responsibilities:
Your tasks depend on the client's needs and lifestyle. They can range from personal hygiene, assistance with mobility, housework, and cooking to assisting the client at work or during activities outside the home.
We are looking for you who:
The tasks include tube feeding, medication via tube, inhalations, and handling oxygen at night. It is a big plus if you know sign language, as the child uses signs in combination with limited speech. A basic training in sign language is available at the workplace, and you are expected to participate in it during working hours.
It is important that you do not smoke and that you are not allergic to fur-bearing animals, as there is a cat in the home. Great importance is placed on who you are as an individual to see if you fit well with the child you will be working with; therefore, your cover letter is key in this application.
About the employment
The form of employment is needs-based employment, and the wage form is hourly pay. Working hours vary according to the client's needs: awake nights, weekdays, and weekends.
Salary and other terms of employment according to the collective agreement for Personal Assistance, Vårdföretagarna – Kommunal.
