Your role

You will teach students in HKK in grades 6, 8, and 9, both in full and half classes. Your work includes all typical teaching duties and adapting the teaching based on the student group. As a teacher, you are responsible for planning, teaching, documentation, assessment/grading, and evaluation of the classes you teach. The position also includes purchasing for the practical parts.

You will belong to the lower secondary school's work team where you collaborate with colleagues and are an important part of the collegial learning to create new and in-depth knowledge.

Your competence and experience

We are looking for you who have high expectations for students' goal achievement, good pedagogical insight, and are clear and engaged to bring out the best in students. You who apply:

• Are certified with eligibility in the subject.
• Have several years of documented experience in the teaching profession.
• Use digital working methods as an enhancement in teaching.

You have a good ability to design teaching in accordance with curricula, subject plans, and current knowledge requirements. You take responsibility for and have insight into students' results and needs, and structure and adapt your teaching so that a safe and adequate learning environment is created. You involve the student in the planning and develop the student's ability to learn, both independently and together with others.

You are secure, stable, have self-awareness, and are a clear leader in the classroom. You value and create good conditions for cooperation and create good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You plan, organize, prioritize, and analyze your lesson structure as well as other duties included in your role in an effective manner.

Other information

During the school year 2026-27, teaching in grades 6 and 9 will take place in premises at Kungsholmen Primary School, while grade 8 has theoretical teaching at Höglandsskolan. The position also includes 25% teaching at Kungsholmen Primary School together with another subject colleague.

The position is fundamentally 75% but is temporarily expanded with 25% during the school year 2026-27 (with possible extension during the school year 2027-28).
