INVESTIGATOR/ANALYST

The role of Investigator/Analyst with us is varied and highly educational. Working in the background checks department involves close collaboration with the team, participating in meetings, and reporting to the Chief Investigator and CEO.

We are looking for you who are currently pursuing an academic education in law, economics, journalism, or other relevant fields, and/or have experience working with background checks, investigations, due diligence, or screening of individuals and/or companies, preferably with a focus on labor market crime and economic crime. We prefer that you have a few years left of your education.

You must be fluent in both Swedish and English and have good knowledge of Swedish and EU law related to the following areas: tax (including income tax, payroll tax, social/employer contributions, etc.), posting of workers, and migration-related issues.

The following are advantageous but not required:

• Good knowledge of the construction, cleaning, transport, and green industries.
• Experience in investigating economic crime.
• Knowledge of Polish, Lithuanian, Latvian, or Estonian.

Your tasks will include among other things:

• Gathering data from various Swedish and international sources, including the Swedish Companies Registration Office, the Swedish Enforcement Authority, the Swedish Work Environment Authority, Swedish Courts, the ID06 system, and other databases.
• Analyzing collected information according to ANSVAR SÄKERHET's screening methodology.
• Preparing reports focused on labor market crime.
• Analyzing current regulations and industry news.
• Developing guides and materials.
• Communicating with authorities.
