We are looking for a folk high school teacher in English for Fornby Folk High School's branch in Falun. The position is fixed-term at 30% and spans the academic year 2026/27. In addition to teaching English, it includes scheduled activities with non-subject-specific content. This non-subject-specific content, which we call "Culture, Body, and Soul," can involve aesthetic activities, wellness, nature experiences, or similar (here, the teacher's own interests and knowledge can form the basis for the activities offered to participants). The subject teaching will take place in a general course (equivalent to upper secondary school) and will range in levels from basic English to English Level 2.

To be considered for this position, you must have pedagogical education and experience teaching English at the primary school and/or upper secondary school level, or at a folk high school. It is advantageous to be a certified teacher with subject competence. A folk high school teacher education is also advantageous. Since the position involves working with individuals within the neurodivergent spectrum (NPF), pedagogical and practical experience in such work is advantageous. Pedagogical skill and a good sense of interaction are crucial, and great importance will be placed on personal suitability in this recruitment.
