Teacher in Technology/Physics/Mathematics at Bjursåsskolan 7-9

The Bjursås school area is facing an exciting development phase and is now looking for an engaged and qualified teacher who wants to help shape the school of the future.

The school area consists of three schools: Bjursåsskolan F–9, Grycksboskolan F-6, and Sågmyraskolan F-6. All schools are rural schools with easy access to beautiful green and forest areas, as well as good opportunities for outdoor and sports activities. The school area comprises approximately 600 students and 100 employees. In the area, we want students to feel safe and well-being at school, as well as trust in the adults around them. Here, the staff works engaged to ensure that all students are given the opportunity to develop into their best selves. At all our schools, we work purposefully to develop student health work to promote health and prevent illness. To achieve development and create a sense of community, we work with collegial learning.

Job Responsibilities

As a subject teacher, you have the opportunity to teach technology/physics/mathematics; the position may be combined with other subjects. You will plan, conduct, and evaluate your teaching in relation to students' learning and the school's governing documents. You will be a mentor for students in collaboration with a colleague and you are part of a work team.

Qualifications

Required for the role:

• Teacher qualification and certification for grades 7–9.

Personal Qualities

We are looking for you who is a responsible and clear educator with a positive attitude and good communication skills. You have a good manner and find it easy to build good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. We see that you need to be flexible regarding short-term and long-term changes that are part of the pedagogical work.

Group dynamics are important to us, which is why we place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Desirable Qualifications

• A few years of experience working as a certified teacher.
• Good knowledge of implementing adaptations for students in need of support.

Employment Terms

Permanent full-time employment with the possibility of part-time, with start date by agreement.
