We are looking for an English teacher at the Falun branch of Fornby Folk High School. The position is fixed-term at 30% and covers the academic year 2026/27. In addition to teaching English, the role includes scheduled activities with non-subject-specific content. This non-subject-specific content, which we call "Culture, Body, and Soul," can involve aesthetic activities, wellness, nature experiences, or similar (the teacher's own interests and knowledge can form the basis for the activities offered to participants). Subject teaching will take place in a general course (equivalent to upper secondary school) and will cover levels from basic English to English Level 2.

To be considered for this position, you must have pedagogical education and experience teaching English at the primary school and/or upper secondary school level, or at a folk high school. It is meritorious to be a certified teacher with subject competence. Training as a folk high school teacher is also meritorious. Since the position involves working with individuals within the neurodivergent spectrum (NPF), pedagogical and practical experience in this area is meritorious. Pedagogical skill and a good sense of interaction are crucial, and great importance will be placed on personal suitability in this recruitment.
