About the Contact Center

Uddevalla's Contact Center is your entry point for all types of questions regarding your municipality. We are here for both residents, visitors, and businesses. We help you get answers to your questions via phone, email, social media, or when you visit us at the City Hall. Our goals are to:

• Simplify and improve municipal services.
• Contribute to a more efficient and customer-oriented municipal operation.
• Handle 80% of all inquiries and cases received by the municipality.

About the Job

We exist for our customers. As a Municipal Guide, your primary focus is to help our customers get answers to their questions and cases. A large part of our days consists of answering phones, emails, or receiving visitors to facilitate our customers' daily lives. At our center, customer service is in focus, and we support each other to deliver work that creates as much value as possible.

Responsibilities

• You will help our customers get answers to their questions by answering phones, emails, social media, or receiving visitors in our reception at the City Hall.
• You help our customers find what they are looking for on uddevalla.se and our operational systems.
• You support our operations by processing rule-based cases, documenting, and registering all our cases.

As a Municipal Guide, you play a key role by providing quick and correct answers to customers' questions and helping to connect them with the right people in the municipality.

Who Are We Looking For?

• For you, customer service is A and Z, which you demonstrate by being accommodating in your interactions. You have the interest, willingness, and ability to help others and strive to exceed customer expectations.
• You have good pedagogical communication skills. You adapt the way you convey your message to the recipient and have a good understanding of how people absorb messages based on different prerequisites.
• To succeed in the role, you have the ability to create trust and confidence for both customers and your colleagues.
• You should have good teamwork skills and enjoy working in a group where you need to be flexible in your approach.
• You need to be stress-resistant, which you show by being calm and secure in stressful situations. You maintain a realistic perspective and focus on the right things.

You have a genuine interest in service and enjoy helping others. In this recruitment, we place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Requirements

• You have a secondary education or education that the employer considers equivalent.
• You have very good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing, as well as good knowledge of English.
• You have good computer skills and the ability to learn how to handle different operational systems.
• You have previous experience working in customer service or similar service professions.

Conditions

Employment is subject to the necessary decisions being made. For positions where the work involves direct and regular contact with children and young people, as well as for operations within LSS (Act for Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments), care and nursing, health and medical care, psychiatric care, and addiction care, a valid extract from the police criminal record must be presented or submitted before employment. Please note that it may take time to obtain the extract, so order it well in advance to avoid delaying the recruitment process.
