About the Job

In this consulting role as Tax Manager, you are responsible for selected parts of the company's global tax work, focusing on both income tax and tax technology. You work broadly with international tax issues, including cross-border transactions, and contribute to ensuring correct tax reporting and efficient regulatory compliance.

You will become part of a small team of three people, which means you are expected to be self-reliant and able to take independent responsibility, while collaborating closely with colleagues within the organization. The role involves many international interfaces.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Handling international tax issues related to the business
• Working with both direct and indirect tax, with an understanding of how they interact
• Responsible for and developing tax reporting and ensuring regulatory compliance
• Participate in and drive initiatives within tax technology, including automation and digital solutions
• Support the business in matters regarding cross-border transactions
• Participate in tax audits and dialogue with external parties
• Work closely with finance and IT functions and contribute to the development of processes and tools

About You

We are looking for you who are an experienced and self-reliant tax consultant. You have a strong interest in both traditional taxation and tax technology, and thrive in a role where you get to combine analysis, structure, and collaboration.

To succeed in the assignment, we see that you have:

• An academic degree in tax, economics, law, or similar
• At least 3–5 years of experience in international tax work (preferably more)
• Experience with tax reporting and a good understanding of regulations
• Knowledge of cross-border transactions and international tax issues
• Experience or strong interest in tax technology and digitalization
• Good understanding of both direct and indirect tax
• Fluent English in speech and writing

It is an advantage if you have experience from financial services, for example, banking or financial companies.
