We are now looking for an experienced and engaged case worker for our preventive supervisory work.

About the position

We are in a development phase where one of our employees is moving on to a new internal role. To ensure our delivery in the core mission, we are now strengthening our unit with a case worker in supervision according to LSO 2:2.

With us, you will become an important part of the work to ensure that citizens and businesses have reasonable fire protection. The role involves independent and varied work where you combine authority exercises, field work, and collaboration.

Your responsibilities

As a case worker, you will:

• Plan and independently carry out supervision according to LSO 2:2
• Process incoming cases and referrals related to fire protection
• Make decisions on orders and prohibitions
• Collaborate with other authorities in coordinated supervision
• Contribute to the development of methods, quality, and efficiency within the unit

The work involves a large part of operational work out in our geographical area, with varying environments and conditions.

Case Worker in the Rescue Service Storgöteborg

As a case worker in the rescue service, you work in the borderland between legislation, technology, and social responsibility. You exercise the authority role with support from legislation, where legal certainty, professionalism, and good treatment are central parts.

The role requires that you can make independent assessments, communicate clearly, and create trust; even in situations where demands need to be made. At the same time, you are an important part of the preventive work to reduce risks and strengthen safety in society.

We are looking for you who have

• Experience of supervisory work or other authority exercises
• Experience of working with orders and prohibitions
• Experience of collaboration with other actors and authorities
• Knowledge of LSO and preferably also PBL

An employment with the Rescue Service Storgöteborg may involve placement in a security class. A security investigation with register control according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be carried out before a decision on employment. For some of our positions placed in a security class, Swedish citizenship is also required.

Your employment is followed by war placement at the Rescue Service Storgöteborg with general service duty, which means that you are obliged to serve in the event of heightened readiness or war. Before employment, alcohol and drug tests will be conducted according to the organization's policy and in cooperation with our occupational health services.
