We are currently looking for an experienced Accounting Assistant for a consultancy assignment with a global player in the technology and industrial sectors. The assignment lasts approximately 6 months and is based in Gothenburg. It is ideal for you who have experience in accounting and financial administration and thrive in an environment focused on quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

You will be part of a Shared Service Center and work within the Accounts Payable team, which is a central part of the organization's finance function.

The role offers a broad variety of tasks within accounting and financial administration. You will work closely with the business operations, contributing to ensuring efficient and well-functioning financial processes, while also participating in improvement and development initiatives.

Examples of responsibilities:

• Handling bookkeeping related to accounts payable processes
• Invoicing
• Account reconciliations and financial investigations
• Problem-solving and identifying opportunities for improvement
• Handling discrepancies and escalation when necessary
• Participating in work to develop, standardize, digitize, and streamline financial processes and system support
• Collaborating with various parts of the business to ensure quality and efficiency in financial flows

• Several years of experience (approx. 8–12 years) in accounting, financial administration, or a similar function
• Experience with bookkeeping and financial processes
• Experience with account reconciliations and financial investigations
• Strong ability to work in a structured and meticulous manner
• Strong problem-solving skills and analytical capacity
• Experience in improvement work and process development is an advantage
• Good teamwork skills and a proactive approach to work
