We are currently looking for an experienced Accounting Assistant for a consulting assignment with an international technology and industrial company in Gothenburg. You will become part of the company's Shared Service Center and work within the Accounts Payable function alongside engaged colleagues in an operation characterized by quality, efficiency, and continuous development.

In this role, you will work broadly within accounting and financial administration while contributing to improvement initiatives and the development of financial processes.

• Handle bookkeeping related to customer accounts receivable

• Responsible for customer invoicing

• Perform account reconciliations and financial investigations

• Identify, analyze, and resolve financial-related problems

• Handle discrepancies and escalate issues when necessary

• Contribute to the development, digitalization, and efficiency improvements of financial processes and system support

• Collaborate with the business to ensure efficient and high-quality financial flows

• Correct and efficient handling of accounting and financial administrative processes

• High quality in account reconciliations and financial analyses

• Active participation in improvement and efficiency initiatives

• Professional support to the business in financial-related matters

• Contribution to well-functioning and standardized financial processes

• At least 8 years of experience in accounting, financial administration, or similar financial functions

• Experience with bookkeeping and financial processes

• Experience with account reconciliations

• Experience with financial investigations

• Good ability to work in a structured and meticulous manner

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Good teamwork skills

• Experience in improvement work and process development
