The Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency (MSB) is the leading, guiding, and coordinating authority in civil defense. We ensure that society is prepared for crisis, high alert, and war.
The need for information exchange is increasing in line with the strengthening of total defense. The security policy development places increasingly high demands on effective, accessible, and user-friendly solutions to ensure that actors within total defense have access to the right information at the right time – even when confidentiality requirements are high. Do you want to contribute to the development of total defense's ability to share information securely? Then you could be our next colleague.
Here, you will work on strengthening civil defense's ability to exchange security-classified information. You will be part of the team acting as the central representative for the signals security service within the Section for Secure Information Sharing. The tasks include making decisions on which operators within civil defense should have secure cryptographic functions, as well as ensuring together with other central representatives that civilian operators receive the correct training, authorizations, information, and technical equipment for their operations.
Your duties further include supporting civilian operators within total defense. This includes training and advisory services regarding signals security in general. You are expected to contribute to ensuring that the needs of civil defense are represented by supporting the Swedish Armed Forces in both the development and implementation of new signals security systems, as well as technical support systems for command and cooperation in total defense. The task includes gathering the needs of civil defense regarding signals security and contributing to the requirement specification of new technical support systems.
Your knowledge and competencies
We are looking for you who have a relevant academic education or another educational background assessed as equivalent.
