Do you want to work in a salutogenic environment with learning and the student at the center, alongside driven educators? Then you are warmly welcome to us at Videdalsskolan! We are currently looking for you who are a teacher for grades 7-9 with qualifications in English and Natural Sciences (No).

At Videdalsskolan, we work in grade-level teams while also providing opportunities for planning and development within subject-specific teams. Here, you will be part of a team of teachers where you together plan and are responsible for the students' education and development. Your focus lies in creating the best conditions for every student in a safe and trust-building environment.

You will primarily teach students in English and Natural Sciences, where you educate and support students in their social and academic development. You challenge students to take initiative, develop their interests, and take responsibility for themselves and others. As a teacher, you conduct modern and creative teaching and find strategies to reach every student and strengthen them in both academic and personal development. Your duties include, among other things, planning, implementing, and evaluating the pedagogical work based on the school's steering documents as well as the students' needs and interests, both individually and together with the grade-level team you belong to.

Your role also includes mentorship. You collaborate with other school staff to ensure a good learning and working environment for both students and staff, and you participate in the school's development work.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a teaching license with qualifications to teach English and Natural Sciences for grades 7-9. If you have previous experience working with grades 7-9, it is meritorious. Experience working with CPS (Collaborative Problem Solving) is also considered an advantage.

It is important to us that you have the right mindset for your role and the operation. You can organize your work, are secure and solution-focused, and contribute to creating a good work climate together with your colleagues. You have good insight and knowledge of the school's steering documents and know how to apply them effectively in daily work. Your teaching is modern, creative, and innovative. Based on evidence-based research, you develop your work, and with good knowledge and experience, you work efficiently with relevant digital tools.

Welcome to Videdalsskolan – a miniature Malmö! Videdalsskolan is located in the Husie district, right in the middle of a residential area. With walking distance to the Bulltofta recreational area and proximity to other contexts, we have great opportunities to be a natural part of our beautiful Malmö.
