Wallerska School is a preschool to year 6 school with approximately 290 students who will move into completely new premises with a newly built schoolyard this autumn. About the position

You will work in year 4, teaching mathematics and Natural Sciences (NO), and serve as a mentor for one of the classes in that year. In this role, you will also teach mathematics and Natural Sciences to year 6 students. You will be part of a work team that collaborates on planning, implementing, and evaluating teaching for the students.

Examples of duties:

• Plan, implement, evaluate, and assess your own teaching
• Actively participate in work aimed at higher goal achievement and a good learning environment
• Maintain good contact with students, colleagues, and guardians
• Participate in and drive development issues
• Be familiar with and follow the organization's current laws, policies, and routines
• Work and document in the existing operational systems

About the workplace

Wallerska School covers years F-6 and is located in the residential area of Hjärsta in western Örebro. This autumn, we will move into fully renovated and newly built premises with an associated newly built schoolyard. There are beautiful parks and outdoor areas around the school used by the school. Here, you will work in a teaching team that also conducts school development. Qualifications

As a teacher with us, it is important that you are a calm and stable person who contributes to a secure school environment. You work well with others and have an attentive approach where you listen and communicate. Furthermore, you have knowledge of child development and learning, as well as the ability to adapt teaching based on the group and individual students' needs and conditions. You are clear in your communication, ensuring that messages are received, and you take responsibility for your tasks and drive your processes forward. You also adapt easily to changed circumstances and can quickly change your perspective and attitude. Furthermore, you master the Swedish language to such an extent that you can communicate with students and other staff, and you can document in writing what the operation requires.

• Teacher certification with eligibility to teach mathematics, Natural Sciences (NO), and Technology for years 4-6, or alternatively a degree that qualifies for certification
