Sydnärke Education Union is a municipal consortium located in Hallsberg, with Askersund, Hallsberg, and Laxå as member municipalities. On behalf of the member municipalities, we lead and are responsible for upper secondary education, adult education, and commissioned education. We offer 12 national upper secondary programs, introductory programs, as well as adapted upper secondary school. In addition, we also run adult education (Komvux) at Allévux.

We have a total of approximately 1,800 students, of whom 1,300 are at Alléskolan and 500 at Allévux. We are about 300 employees, and in daily work, support is available in the form of functions such as administration, HR, finance, and IT. Job Responsibilities

This autumn, we are looking for a music teacher for Alléskolan's adapted upper secondary school in Hallsberg. The position is a part-time employment at 20% during the school year 26/27. You will teach students on both national and individual programs.

The schedule can be partially adapted based on preferences.

Qualifications

• Teacher certification with eligibility to teach music.
• Good ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
• Good knowledge of the curriculum and the knowledge assignment for adapted upper secondary school, or alternatively, a willingness to familiarize yourself with this.

Merits

• Special education degree with a focus on intellectual disability, or alternatively, started such education.
• Experience teaching students in adapted schools or working with the target group of students with intellectual disabilities, multiple disabilities, or neuropsychiatric disabilities.
• Experience with clarifying pedagogy, low-affective handling, and alternative and augmentative communication (AAC), for example, sign language as support.
• Experience adapting music teaching (instruments, singing, rhythmics, ensemble, and music creation) based on each student's prerequisites and needs.
• Knowledge of and experience with digital tools, both as pedagogical support and for documentation.

• You are calm, receptive, and flexible, and meet each student with patience and high expectations based on the student's own prerequisites.
• You see music as a path to participation, communication, and personal development, not just as a subject.
• You value close collaboration in the work team, including with student assistants, and contribute to a safe and inclusive learning environment.
