We are looking for a motivated teacher in Swedish and English for grades 7–9. The position may be tailored to your qualifications and preferences. As a teacher at Navet, you will be part of a work team and a subject group, collaborating closely with colleagues. You are expected to contribute to the team's development by actively participating in conferences and the group's competence development. The role also includes mentoring students. As a new colleague, you will receive support from the team leader and competent colleagues. If you are new to the profession, you will also be supported by an experienced mentor. The school was recently renovated and has excellent facilities for teaching.

Examples of duties:

• Plan, conduct, and evaluate teaching in the subjects you are responsible for.
• Use methods and working approaches that lead to the best possible achievement of goals.
• Act as a mentor/class advisor.
• Work together with the work team and other school staff.

About the workplace

Qualifications

In the role of a teacher with us, it is important that you are calm, secure, and stable. You have good collaboration skills, listening, communicating, and resolving any conflicts constructively. You adapt easily to changing circumstances. Furthermore, you have a good understanding of how people acquire knowledge and can adapt your way of conveying your message. You communicate clearly and ensure that your message reaches the audience. You are also outgoing, create contacts, and maintain relationships. You can lead and motivate others by creating engagement and participation.

Requirements:

• Teaching license with eligibility to teach Swedish and English in grades 7–9, or a degree that qualifies for a teaching license.

Merits:

• Eligibility to teach an additional subject in grades 7–9.
• Experience teaching in the later years of primary school.
• Experience working in Its Learning or another learning platform.
