Job Description

You will teach students on nursing-related education programs, such as assistant nurse education, vocational upper secondary courses, commission-based training, and collaborative courses with upper secondary schools.

Your responsibilities include:

• Planning, implementing, and following up on teaching based on the Swedish National Agency for Education's curriculum
• Evaluating and grading students' abilities in the courses
• Collaborating with colleagues and representatives from the business community
• Planning, implementing, and following up on values-based work
• Systematic quality work
• Working and documenting in the operational systems available

The mission of adult education is constantly changing, and as a teacher in the healthcare professions, you need to be able to work with students at different levels within the education system. As a nursing teacher, you may also receive assignments as a team leader, lead teacher, or coordinator for certain commission-based training.

Currently, we are three full-time nursing teachers, all with experience in the nursing profession and specialized training; two in acute care and one in psychiatry. The nursing teacher we wish to add to the group would preferably have specialization in the LSS (Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) area, social care, or elderly care.

Certain evening teaching may be relevant.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have:

• A degree from a nursing and care upper secondary school
• Experience working as an assistant nurse or nurse
• Good IT competence to handle digital services and software available in schools and industry

It is meritorious if you have:

• A nursing degree, preferably with specialized training in healthcare
• Licens as a vocational teacher
• Experience as a vocational teacher or other pedagogical work

Employment Terms

Permanent position. Duration: Start date by agreement. Probationary period may apply.
