The Child and Education Administration covers preschool, primary school, adapted primary school, after-school centers, upper secondary school, and adult education. Currently, more than 200 employees work in our administration.

Job Responsibilities

Are you a qualified teacher with a great interest in learning and development in primary school? Then we think you should apply for the position of class teacher in preschool class at Mullhyttan School. This position will be shared with another class teacher, and together you will be responsible for the preschool class.

The school is located in the middle of Mullhyttan, approximately 8 km west of Fjugesta. Together with 140 students, 15 employees work with us. Our school is a small single-grade F-6 school with an after-school center and nature close at hand. There is a large, inviting schoolyard that encourages play and is also used as a spontaneous sports area.

In this role, you work to ensure that children feel secure and receive support regardless of where they are on the developmental curve, and that you collaborate with colleagues for the best results. You work systematically to create security, well-being, and development through participation at all levels.

As a class teacher, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating teaching, both individually and in collaboration with colleagues in your work team. You work according to current routines and governing documents to ensure that students reach as far as possible in their development in all areas. You collaborate with colleagues, students, and guardians to create a secure and developmental learning environment. You are responsible for meetings with guardians, development talks, creating development plans, and assessment.

You work based on the individual student's needs and actively work with the school's value base. We are keen that the work is carried out using guided interaction (ICDP), information and communication technology (ICT), formative assessment, along with a positive and solution-focused approach.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have:

• a primary school teacher degree and teaching authorization with eligibility to teach in grades F-3, or have a degree and are waiting for authorization
• good IT skills and are accustomed to using digital tools in teaching.

It is meritorious if you have experience of:

• teaching in primary school
• guided interaction (ICDP).

We would like you to have experience of mentorship as well as interest and experience in engagement in work team and student health work.

We are looking for you who are engaged in your assignment and driven by leading students in their development, both academically and socially. We expect you to be a person who meets students individually and spreads a positive atmosphere in your interaction with them.

You are a clear leader in the classroom who strives to provide conditions for all students to have the opportunity to develop as far as possible.
