About the Position

Welcome to Änglandaskolan! As a music teacher here, you will teach music to grades 4-6 in close collaboration with other colleagues. We have a nice, well-equipped music room, and unique to our school is that music education takes place in half-classes, a setup appreciated by both teachers and students. This approach aims to create the best possible conditions for creativity and learning.

Änglandaskolan works with "home bases" for each grade level, where students have the opportunity to receive their education in different environments depending on what suits each lesson best. In each grade level, a teaching team works together, sharing and assisting with the education for their specific grade.

Collaboration among colleagues and collegial working methods are prerequisites for our work at Änglandaskolan, as is the ability to see flexible solutions to meet the needs of our students. As an employee at the school, you will also work preventively and promotively in cooperation with the school's student health team and other supporting professions. As a teacher with us, you will continuously reflect on, develop, and improve both your own and the entire team's teaching. We actively work to create an environment where our students feel trust in the school's teachers. We achieve this through warm relationships with the students combined with clear boundaries.

About the Workplace

Änglandaskolan is a K-6 school that started operations in August 2018. The school is a landmark in the emerging district of Södra Ladugårdsängen. Qualifications

As a teacher with us, it is important that you are a calm and stable person who contributes to a secure school environment. You work well with others and have an attentive approach, listening and communicating in a way that creates good relationships with the school's staff and students. You have knowledge of child development and learning, as well as the ability to adapt teaching based on the group and individual students' needs and prerequisites. Your music teaching is characterized by creativity and engagement.

You are both warm and clear in your communication, ensuring that messages are conveyed effectively. You also adapt easily to changed circumstances and can quickly change your perspective and attitude. Furthermore, you master the Swedish language to such an extent that you can communicate orally and in writing with students and other staff, as well as document what the operations require.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Requirements:

• teacher certification with eligibility to teach music in grades 3-6, or alternatively a degree that qualifies for certification

Merits:

• experience teaching in grades 4-6
• experience working as a music teacher
• eligibility to teach in a core subject
