At Pärlan, we are dedicated educators who want to create the best conditions for the children to succeed and develop during their time at the preschool. We work based on the Swedish National Agency for Education's curriculum for the preschool (Lpfö 18, rev 25) and a project-based approach where the children's experiences, interests, and motivation form the basis for projects and teaching.

We have a common focus on ensuring that every child gets the opportunity to learn and develop based on their own prerequisites. To strengthen the children's language development and communication skills, we use a language- and knowledge-developing approach where we are present educators who put words to and challenge the children in their communication to further develop. With the help of our project-based approach, children get the opportunity for several creative forms of expression and thus different ways of learning.

We have scheduled reflection time, both individual and in the work team, regular meetings for collegial learning, and the possibility of supervision with a special needs educator if needed. As an employee here, you will receive work clothes and a wellness allowance.

About the preschool

Pärlan is an independent preschool on a Christian foundation located in the residential area of Brickebacken in Örebro. The preschool consists of three departments with a total of 55 children: Musslan (1-2 years), Snäckan (3-5 years), and Korallen (3-5 years). The preschool is located near the forest and has a generous outdoor environment for the children to play and learn in. We are also close to the Brickebacken library and the area's many nice play environments.

We are now in need of a preschool teacher for our team!

We are looking for you who are confident and engaged in your role and who can see the big picture and adapt to needs and situations. You have a good understanding of people's differences and meet each child based on their prerequisites and needs.

In the role of preschool teacher, we expect you to:

• be driven, take responsibility for your tasks, and have a solution-focused approach.
• have experience leading colleagues in the joint work in the children's group and collaborate well and create participation for everyone to drive the work at the preschool forward together.
• work based on the preschool teacher's responsibility as specified in Lpfö 18, rev 25, section 2.7.
• master the Swedish language and be able to communicate with children, guardians, and other staff, both orally and in writing. Since the work involves digital documentation, good computer skills are also required.

Since we are a small unit with collaboration between departments and proximity to management, there are great opportunities as a preschool teacher to be involved and able to influence the joint work for the best of the children at the preschool.

• Legitimized preschool teacher.

About the position

The position is permanent (with a 6-month probation period) at 100% starting 17/8 or as agreed.
