The Business Development area consists of approximately 80 employees with a main focus on maintaining, enhancing, and ensuring the competence supply for the development capacity of healthcare from a business-oriented perspective. The area is divided into two units: The Unit for Improvement and Innovation and the Unit for Health and Care Development.

Job Description
As a Development Manager, you will:
- Lead, drive, and support development and improvement work within healthcare, both locally and in region-wide assignments.
- Support and coach.
- Contribute to knowledge development within children's rights and child protection.
- Work with planning, follow-up, and coordination, as well as conduct mapping and analyses.
Work Group
You will become part of a team of Development Managers in the Unit for Health and Care Development. We work together on assignments across the entire region and hold regular meetings for support, collaboration, and experience sharing.
About You
We are looking for you who have a degree in social work or behavioral science from a university/college with:
- Experience working with children in vulnerable life situations or with issues concerning children at risk.
- In-depth knowledge of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child and Swedish legislation concerning children, including the Social Services Act (SoL) and regulations regarding mandatory reporting.
- Experience in strategic work and collaboration between the region and municipalities/social services.
- Ability to express yourself well in speech and writing and to lead complex processes forward.
Application and Employment
The position is 50% with the possibility of combining your current role with a new and developmental assignment.
Before employment in a patient-oriented role within Region Östergötland, you will be required to complete a health declaration.
