We at the Orthopedic Technology Department within Region Norrbotten manufacture and customize orthopedic technical aids such as prostheses, orthoses, corsets, orthopedic shoes, shoe modifications, and insoles.
We collaborate with numerous units and clinics in our daily work. Among other things, we participate in joint clinics, e.g., prosthetic clinics, foot rounds, and rehabilitation clinics for children and young people with disabilities, together with orthopedic specialists and other rehabilitation staff.
Our team consists of orthopedic engineers, orthopedic technicians, orthopedic prosthetists, and orthopedic pedorthists.
We are a county clinic, which means we are located at two hospitals in Norrbotten: Sunderbyn and Gällivare. This position is based at Sunderby Hospital.
We are looking for
We are looking for you who have nursing assistant education and good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. It is meritorious if you have previous healthcare experience within orthopedics and if you have worked in the medical record system Cosmic.

Furthermore, you have good problem-solving skills and can handle challenges and changing situations in a constructive and solution-focused manner.
What you will work with
With us, you will have a varied and developing role within orthopedic technology, where you become an important part of the work to provide patients with the right support and aids at the right time. The position offers a varied daily routine with good opportunities to grow in your professional role. The role involves working with inventory management and administrative tasks in our warehouse system. You are also responsible for daily scheduled telephone calls via TeleQ, handling and distributing incoming 1177 cases, as well as administrative work in the medical record system Cosmic. Occasionally, you may also need to assist on the ward and in the emergency clinic, for example during the fitting of orthoses and other aids.
This is a position for you who primarily enjoy administrative tasks but can also work in patient-facing roles. You will find yourself in an operation with high engagement and close collaboration.

Information about the position
We offer a permanent position with daytime working hours. Start date is by agreement. Selection and interviews are conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the last application date.
Region Norrbotten applies individual salary setting according to collective agreement.
