Company Description
Eurofins Radon Testing Sweden AB is a leading European laboratory specializing in radon analysis.
We produce, deliver, and analyze radon measurements using automated technologies. We are a center of competence within the Eurofins Group, where we provide global expertise as specialists in radon issues. Continuous improvement and development work is carried out as part of our philosophy, alongside a high awareness of quality.
We have daily contact with our customers, which include private individuals, consulting firms, housing companies, and municipalities, both nationally and internationally, providing service and support.
About the Role
As a Business Developer, you will be involved in many parts of the business. You act as a key cog in the business area, contributing with both strategic initiatives and responsibility for sales activities. You conduct sales activities and market our services both nationally and internationally. Business travel occurs 2–3 days per week. You work in close collaboration with the Laboratory Production Manager and the Eurofins sales organization. You report to the Business Area Manager for Eurofins Radon. The position is based in Luleå or Uppsala, but we are also open to placement at other locations in Sweden.
Requirements
We are looking for a person with a strong commercial understanding and documented experience in sales and business development. You have post-secondary education in business development, economics, marketing, or equivalent. Experience in driving growth, developing customer relationships, and working strategically with market and business is highly meritorious. Additionally, experience from laboratory, pharmaceutical, or other technically oriented operations is an advantage. Technical education in areas such as radiation science or similar is considered meritorious but is not a requirement.
To succeed in the role, you are someone who thrives on developing the business and has a commercial mindset with natural social skills. You are an entrepreneur type with high energy, who uses your sensitivity and structure to create marketing strategies and then execute them. You are the person who prefers to pick up the phone and make a call rather than sending an email. With high self-drive and the ability to get things done, you are solution-oriented. You have the ability to take initiative and complete tasks based on broad requirements. Naturally, you communicate fluently in both Swedish and English. To thrive at Eurofins, we also believe you are unpretentious, humble, and willing to ask for clarification when needed.
