Your Team and Workplace

You will become part of the Mobile product area, focusing on the development of the company's secure Android phones and applications. The role belongs to a small specialist team with major responsibility for user experience and functionality in the company's products. The team works according to Scrum and collaborates closely with product management and other developers.

The workplace is located in Danderyd, Stockholm. Due to the company's security requirements, the work is performed on-site in a security-classified environment. Tutus Data is a Swedish cybersecurity company with extensive experience in developing solutions for secure communication, encryption, and network security, with the Swedish Armed Forces being one of its largest customers.

What You Will Do

• Develop and further develop Android applications in security-critical environments
• Participate in the entire development process from requirements and design to implementation, testing, and maintenance
• Collaborate with product management, customers, and other stakeholders to translate needs into technical solutions
• Ensure that applications are robust, testable, and sustainable in the long term
• Contribute to architecture work, technical decisions, and continuous improvements
• Work closely with teams within VPN, networking, and cryptography solutions

About You

To succeed in this role, you have several years of professional experience in Kotlin development with Android. You have experience with modern development methods and are comfortable with technologies such as Jetpack Compose and MVVM. You likely have an education in computer science, systems development, or a corresponding field.

As a person, you enjoy solving complex technical problems and have the ability to analyze different solution alternatives to find sustainable paths forward. You take initiative, collaborate well with others, and appreciate discussing requirements, user flows, and technical decisions with colleagues and stakeholders. Since the role involves work in security-critical environments, you are meticulous, quality-conscious, and have a structured working method. You communicate fluently in Swedish and English, and a security clearance with background check is conducted before employment. This implies that Swedish citizenship is required.
