Our Mission

Within the Business Area Coordinated Support, we provide coordinated measures to job seekers and employers to shorten the time to sustainable employment and recruitment, while preventing incorrect payments and violations of welfare systems. We meet job seekers with significant support needs and employers who wish to broaden their recruitment, based on our local anchoring and knowledge of the labor market.

Our Workplace

The current unit operates in Kronoberg and Blekinge and consists of approximately 180 employees. We work together in an environment where collaboration and collegial support are central to creating a vibrant atmosphere. We are now looking for Employment Advisors for the office in Växjö and/or Ljungby.

We work together towards common goals and can always count on each other's support in our daily work. Our leadership style is result-oriented, with a close and coaching approach that encourages participation, motivation, and responsibility.

Job Description

As an Employment Advisor within Coordinated Support, you work intensively with job seekers who need individual and often long-term support to enter or remain in the labor market. The work takes place primarily through physical meetings and close collaboration with employers, authorities, and other actors to coordinate measures based on the individual's needs. You also work with employers regarding competence supply needs and support them in broadening their recruitment.

An important part of the assignment is to inform about the Swedish Public Employment Service's services, as well as rights and obligations, and provide support on the path to work. You also handle incoming cases via telephone from both job seekers and employers with significant support needs.

To succeed in the role, you work in a structured manner and are confident in interpreting and applying laws and regulations. You document in a legally secure manner, act professionally in meetings with people, and can navigate multiple systems simultaneously. The assignment includes conducting investigative, advisory, and sometimes complex conversations, as well as working towards set goals.

Your employment begins with an introduction that gives you good conditions to succeed in the role as a state civil servant.

What We Offer

The position is a permanent full-time employment starting with a six-month probationary period. Start date by agreement. The location is Växjö and/or Ljungby.

We offer favorable vacation agreements, the possibility of flexible hours in agreement with the employer (after completing an introduction of approx. 9 weeks), workplace wellness activities, and a wellness allowance.

Basic Requirements

  • A university/college education of at least 180 higher education credits (120 credits under the previous system).

Alternatively

  • You have been employed as an Employment Advisor at the Swedish Public Employment Service and are assessed to have good prerequisites to meet today's requirements for Employment Advisors.

And

  • At least 2 years of work experience, combined work of at least 50 percent over a total of 2 years.
  • Good knowledge of Swedish, meaning good ability to communicate orally and in writing, as well as high reading comprehension.
  • Category B driver's license.

Other Merits

  • Experience and knowledge of collaboration with other actors, such as authorities, municipalities, partners, and employers.
  • Work experience in interpreting and applying regulations.
  • Work experience from guidance and coaching.
  • Experience working with people with disabilities.
