RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a Payroll Consultant for the Payroll Unit who wants to contribute to developing our payroll process. The Payroll Unit is part of the HR Department within the Municipal Executive Office and is responsible for group-wide payroll management, occupational pensions, contractual insurances, personnel and payroll statistics, as well as system administration within the HR area. Today, 23 people work at the Payroll Unit providing support and good service to managers and employees in the Växjö Municipal Group.

As a Payroll Consultant, you process cases from the case management system and perform checks, processing, and registrations in our operational systems. You also work with supporting and consultative tasks, primarily for managers and case handlers. You will also contribute your knowledge to our telephone support for departments, companies, and authorities, as well as work operationally with payroll tasks. Many of our processes are digitized and constantly evolving. Today, we use the systems Visma Personec P, Time Care Planning and Pool, as well as Microweb.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who have a post-secondary education with a focus on payroll or qualifications that can be considered equivalent. We also see that you have experience from the payroll administration area within a larger organization. If you have knowledge of laws and agreements regulating the municipal sector, it is an advantage. Since the work involves contacts in many different areas, you need to be able to express yourself well both orally and in writing.

As a person, you are meticulous, systematic, and quality-conscious. You are service-oriented and have good empathetic skills. You can easily adapt to new tasks and IT systems. In the role of Payroll Consultant, it is important to be structured and able to prioritize your day correctly, as the work is partly governed by specific deadlines. The work is team-based, and you will be part of a work group with 16 payroll consultants, where you contribute positively to the group's working climate. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability and experience.
