The Swedish National Agency for Youth and Civil Society (MUCF) is a government agency that generates knowledge about young people's living conditions and the prerequisites for civil society. Our vision is an open and inclusive Sweden with good conditions for young people and civil society. We strengthen civil society and young people for a cohesive and strong Sweden.

MUCF has been tasked by the government to work towards achieving the goals within youth policy and civil society policy. We do this by developing, collecting, and disseminating knowledge, as well as contributing to the coordination of state efforts. We collaborate with agencies, municipalities, regions, and civil society organizations, and distribute state grants.

MUCF serves as the national programme office for the EU's youth programme Erasmus+ and the European Solidarity Corps. This means that MUCF processes and distributes grants within the programme areas for which the agency is responsible. MUCF also acts as the information office for CERV (Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values) and provides information about grants available under that programme.

Job Responsibilities

The main responsibilities include administrative tasks such as receiving and registering incoming applications and final reports within the framework of the EU programmes Erasmus+ Youth, Sport, and the European Solidarity Corps, as well as checking whether formal requirements have been met. The work is carried out in collaboration with colleagues in the department. The role may involve contact with applicants, project owners, and actors interested in our grants.

Qualifications

You are enrolled in full-time studies at a relevant university or higher education institution, preferably in law or social sciences, or another equivalent higher education qualification (Chapter 6, Section 2 of the Higher Education Ordinance). You must have completed approved studies equivalent to at least 60 higher education credits and not have begun doctoral studies. The position as an administrator at the Unit for International Grants requires close collaboration within the administrator group located at the agency's office in Växjö.

You should be able to interact well with different target groups based on their conditions and needs. You achieve this through good cooperation skills, both internally and externally, and through a relationship-building and networking approach. You have good pedagogical skills and can explain complex processes to the target group in both large and small contexts. You are structured and flexible in your work and can follow processes and routine descriptions.

You must be able to express yourself very well, both verbally and in writing, in Swedish and English. You also have good knowledge of the Office package and are accustomed to familiarizing yourself with different computer systems.

It is meritorious if you have work experience in the form of working at an agency or other public organization, or at an organization that applies for/receives public grants. It is also meritorious if you have an interest and documented knowledge of the EU programmes Erasmus+ Youth, Education and Sport, and the European Solidarity Corps (read more at mucf.se).

The employment is fixed-term for one semester at a time, with the possibility of extension for a maximum of four semesters.

MUCF aims to leverage the qualities that a balanced gender distribution and diversity bring to the organization. At MUCF, we value good employee relations. This means that as an employee, you take responsibility for your work, contribute to development, and participate in creating a good working environment.

You can read about our recruitment process here.

We use e-recruitment to streamline and ensure the quality of the recruitment process. As a candidate, you are responsible for ensuring that the information provided is truthful and correct, and that it is submitted to MUCF no later than 24:00 on the last day of application. The information is processed and stored in accordance with the Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

In connection with the recruitment process, we have made decisions regarding recruitment channels and marketing. Therefore, we expressly decline contact with media sellers, recruitment sites, and similar.

We look forward to receiving your application!
