Länstrafiken Kronoberg is an administration within Region Kronoberg. Our mission is to contribute to good travel opportunities in the county by offering a well-functioning general public transport system as well as special public transport for the municipalities that have tasked us with procuring/executing door-to-door transport and school trips.

Responsibilities

As Business Area Manager Bus, you have overall responsibility for ensuring that bus transport in Kronoberg is attractive, efficient, and sustainable. You lead the development of the business area, monitor results, and drive improvements in close collaboration with operators, municipalities, and internal functions.

You will:

• Be responsible for the business area's strategic direction, goals, and results
• Monitor traffic quality, economics, and customer satisfaction, and initiate improvement measures
• Lead and coordinate development projects within bus transport and mobility
• Ensure good dialogue and collaboration with operators, municipalities, and other stakeholders
• Prepare decision-making materials and contribute to long-term plans for the development of public transport
• Represent the business area in internal and external forums

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• A relevant academic background, such as urban planning, project management, economics, or equivalent
• At least five years of experience in strategic development work, business responsibility, or leadership roles within transport, mobility, or similar areas
• Experience in driving complex projects and processes with many stakeholders
• Ability to combine a strategic holistic perspective with operational understanding
• Good communication skills and confidence in working in a politically governed organization
