Bosgårdsskolan is one of Varberg's largest primary schools, located in Tvååker where society meets nature. Here, approximately 580 students and 80 employees meet every day.

With us, children and young people get a unique opportunity to grow together with their peers, while having the security of being part of a context that extends all the way from preschool class to grade 9.

Our educators work collegially every week on teaching development. By jointly evaluating and analyzing our working methods, we ensure that we create the best possible teaching for our students.

Our goal is clear: we want to be a school for all, where every student is given the prerequisites to reach as far as possible towards both their social and knowledge-based goals.

Right now, we are in a renewal phase as Bosgårdsskolan is facing a major renovation. Therefore, our operations are currently spread across premises in both Tvååker and central Varberg. We continue to drive our pedagogical development with the same high ambition while we wait to return to our new premises.

WORK RESPONSIBILITIES

As a teacher with us, you have a central role in creating a safe, developmental, and motivating environment where we together create the best possible meeting for learning. By planning, implementing, and following up on your teaching, you give the students the prerequisites to grow based on their unique needs and goals.

We offer a workplace where we together take responsibility for creating a sustainable work environment where both students and staff are given the prerequisites to grow.

Main work responsibilities:

• Teaching and mentorship in grade 4 within Swedish and Science/Technology, or alternatively Swedish and Social Studies. Qualification in more subjects is meritorious.
• Plan, lead, and evaluate teaching based on steering documents and chosen didactic strategies.
• Meet each student in their knowledge progression and strengthen their creativity, curiosity, and self-confidence through professional leadership.
• Develop stimulating learning environments that encourage learning, participation, and student influence.
• Work for a holistic view of the student's school day through close cooperation with colleagues and guardians.
• Participate actively in the school's systematic quality work and contribute to a formative approach in pedagogical daily life.

QUALIFICATIONS

For us, it is important that you have a genuine commitment to the teaching profession and see it as a meaningful mission to make a difference for children and young people. You are a secure pedagogical leader who, with warmth and clarity, provides guidance and creates the structure required for a safe learning environment. For you, collaboration with colleagues is a prerequisite for success; you collaborate without hierarchy to develop the operations together with others.

You are skilled at building relationships and create trusting contacts with both students and guardians. You have a good feel for the group, are flexible, have didactic ability, and adapt your methods based on the students' different needs, knowledge progression, and daily condition.

We are looking for you who:

• Have teacher certification with qualification for teaching in Swedish and Science/Technology, or alternatively Swedish and Social Studies for grades 4-6.
• Have the ability to base your teaching on proven experience and scientific foundation.
• Show skill in planning and following up on operations systematically based on given frameworks.
• Have good assessment ability to follow up on students' development and give constructive feedback.
• Possess clear planning ability to structure lessons and work areas.

Salary form: Monthly salary.
Employment type: Permanent employment.
Duration: Permanent, start date: 2026-08-10. Start date according to agreement.
