Your responsibilities

Teaching music in grades 4–9.

As a teacher, you contribute to the development of the school's pedagogical activities. The role involves planning, implementing, evaluating, and developing teaching together with the work team, based on current curriculum documents and the school's goals. The pedagogical responsibility required for students to reach their goals often demands ingenuity, creativity, and flexibility. You have high expectations of your students and motivate them by clarifying goals and knowledge requirements, ensuring they achieve good results. The role requires a strong ability to analyze student needs and to use methodology well adapted to both the individual student and the group.

The work requires collaboration with other colleagues at the school in a non-hierarchical spirit.

Your qualifications

Legitimized teacher with qualifications for teaching music in grades 4–9.

You should have good insight into and knowledge of the school's curriculum documents. The role requires you to be flexible, have good collaboration skills, and easily build good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. We place great emphasis on your experience and personal suitability.

About the workplace

Kärlekens School is a grades 4–9 school with approximately 550 students, located in the Kärleken district just north of central Halmstad. The operational area also includes two preschool classes to grade 3 schools, with which we have close cooperation to provide students with the best possible conditions throughout their compulsory schooling.

If offered employment within the Child and Youth Administration, you are required to present a certificate of no criminal record from the Police, as the work takes place in schools/preschools. The certificate is free of charge but may take approximately 2–3 weeks for the police to process, so please order it in good time.

The position will be filled provided it is not taken by surplus staff.
