Your responsibilities

As a teacher, you contribute to the development of the school's pedagogical activities. You are a clear and structured leader in the classroom with strong pedagogical skills in teaching. You have high expectations for the students and can motivate them to achieve good results in their schoolwork by clarifying goals and knowledge requirements.

You adapt your teaching to the students and maintain a formative approach. Your pedagogical role often requires ingenuity, creativity, and flexibility, and you use strategies to promote student motivation, participation, and influence.

You collaborate easily and view the teaching team as an asset. Together with the team, you plan, implement, evaluate, and develop teaching based on the school's steering documents and goals. The role also requires collaboration with other colleagues at the school. As a teacher, you must have a good ability to analyze the child's needs and the ability to use methodology well adapted to the individual student and the group.

The role can be shaped to some extent according to your subject qualifications. The role for the 2026/2027 school year also includes a mentorship responsibility for students in year 5.

Your qualifications

Teacher certification with eligibility to teach in years 4–6 in mathematics, Swedish, and English. Other subject combinations may also be considered.

You have leadership abilities and are communicative. You collaborate easily and view your colleagues as an asset. You have analytical skills and see problem-solving as part of your daily routine.

Additional information

Plönningeskolan is located approximately 2 km from Harplinge in a beautiful natural setting. The school serves students from years 4–6. Plönningeskolan operates based on year-level teams, where approximately 3 teachers work across two classes. Teachers within each year-level team work closely together in their daily tasks, while we also work together school-wide to develop our pedagogy and teaching methods. Students from Haverdal and Harplinge attend Plönningeskolan, which consists of approximately 165 students.
