Your responsibilities

We are looking for a teacher specializing in after-school programs (fritidshem) or a preschool teacher.

As a teacher, you will share responsibility for the after-school activities with the rest of the work team. Together with another teacher in the after-school program, you will help establish a new after-school activity. This involves planning, documentation, and evaluation to develop the operations. We base our work on the students' needs, experiences, and perspectives, adapting our activities to meet students with different prerequisites. Our mission is to support the social and general development of students, expand and deepen their knowledge and experiences, as well as offer active breaks and meaningful leisure time. During daytime hours, you will also work in a classroom at the school.

The tasks vary, providing a diverse and challenging work environment, while also requiring both competence and personal qualities from you. You are a stable and secure person with a good ability to build trust with those around you. It is important that you can work independently, are clear, proactive, and responsive to adapt to the students' needs. You work calmly and systematically with a low-affective approach and have a positive and inclusive attitude towards students, colleagues, and parents.

Your qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher specializing in after-school programs or a preschool teacher. We place great emphasis on personal suitability for the role.

If you are offered employment within the Child and Youth Administration, you are required to present a certificate of good conduct from the Police Register for work in schools/preschools. The certificate is free of charge and takes approximately 2–3 weeks for the police to process. Therefore, please order it in good time!

The position will be filled provided it is not taken by surplus personnel.
