The Role of Preschool Teacher with Us

As a preschool teacher, you are present, listen carefully, and show engagement in the children's daily lives. You are involved in play, activities, and routines that help the children develop, learn new things, and interact with others. Together with your colleagues, you plan for a safe and stimulating environment where every child has the opportunity to grow and explore at their own pace. You contribute to a positive atmosphere at work and collaborate closely with both children and guardians.

In this role, you contribute to a sharing culture where we together take responsibility, inspire, collaborate, and support each other. Together with your colleagues, you are expected to both plan and implement, as well as analyze and evaluate the operations based on the school's governing documents.

The assignment as a preschool teacher means that you, together with the work team, are responsible for following the curriculum's mission, planning teaching situations, and documenting your reflections as a basis for active SKA (Systematic Quality Work) within the preschool.

You work to create a safe and developmental environment for the children together with your colleagues. You express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, as this is required in daily work. Great importance is placed on personal suitability.

We are looking for you who:

• Are a licensed preschool teacher
• Have experience working in a preschool
• Have experience working in a team with a preschool assistant
• Have experience working with the youngest children
• Have experience working with introductions in preschool

The preschool area consists of Vallda Backa and Vallda Sandö preschools. The preschools collaborate on study days, APT (Work Environment and Safety Committee), and other training occasions. The preschools also support each other when other needs arise. Vallda Backa preschool consists of two buildings, one for the older children and one for the younger ones. The work team consists of a preschool teacher and a preschool assistant. We work based on the Swedish National Agency for Education's guidelines for group sizes in preschools. The preschool is centrally located in Vallda, making it easy to commute to and from the preschool using municipal transport.

Our Offer and Other Information

We offer a fixed-term full-time position starting August 3rd, according to agreement, until December 31st.
