Temporary Position: Preschool Teacher / Childcare Assistant

Church Preschool in Skrea currently has two departments: "Fröet" (Seeds) for children aged 1–3, and "Humlan" (The Bee) for children aged 3–6. We are expanding with a new department this autumn and are looking for more substitutes for our operations, primarily for short-term absences.

The preschool is located in a fantastic setting where nature is at your doorstep and features a large outdoor yard that invites exploration and movement. Our facilities make it easy to create excellent learning environments for the children together.

Job Description

As a substitute, you contribute to a well-functioning daily routine at the preschool, ensuring that care and daily pedagogical work are based on children's participation. Together with colleagues in the preschool or leisure center team, you help create a positive, meaningful, and developmental environment for each child and the entire group. In daily contact with guardians, you are engaged, child-focused, and service-oriented.

Qualifications

We are primarily looking for you who have a high school education in nursing or child and youth care, and experience from working in a preschool. Alternatively, you have other experience working with children. As a person, you are engaged, flexible, and responsible, and you have a positive attitude towards your work and your team.

We require good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. You should be a member of the Church of Sweden and share its values.
