Our client is a newly established company in the banking and finance sector with a financially strong owner backing them. The company is growing rapidly and is currently building its organization and financial processes for the future. About the Role

As an Accountant, you will have broad responsibilities within a finance function under construction. You will work closely with the CFO, ensuring that ongoing accounting and reporting run smoothly, while contributing to building structure, routines, and automation in a new system environment. This role suits you if you enjoy both operational work and improving processes, and if you take ownership of tasks and drive them to completion.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Ongoing accounting and reconciliations
• Year-end closing and reporting according to IFRS
• Support in group accounting and consolidation
• Contribute to new routines, processes, and automation
• Work in a new system and ERP environment
• Support the development of the finance function together with the CFO

Who are you?

Your attitude weighs heavily here. Our client is looking for someone with genuine drive, who takes personal responsibility and wants to build, not just maintain. You have a solid foundation in accounting and closing, and are confident in IFRS, but it is equally important that you listen, learn, and tackle new tasks with energy. If you have the right attitude and a solid base, there is plenty of room to grow in this role.

We would like you to have:

• Several years of experience in qualified accounting and closing
• Good experience with IFRS
• Habit of working independently and in a structured manner
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English

Meritorious qualifications:

• Experience with group accounting and consolidation
• Experience with system changes and automation
• Auditor background, preferably from Big Four
• Interest in or experience with AI as support in financial work

Experience from banking and finance is meritorious but not a requirement. Drive and attitude are more important; industry knowledge can be built.
