We are now looking for a Production Technician / Technical Support for our operations in Solna – a broad and varied role for you who wish to combine technology, problem-solving, and practical work in an advanced production environment. The role has a central function in production and offers great opportunities to influence, develop, and improve both processes and working methods.
What We Offer
At W5 Solutions, you will have the opportunity to work in a business where technology, quality, and innovation are at the center. You will become part of a competent team that develops and produces products of significance for defense and societal security, while also having great opportunities to develop both technically and professionally.
Location: Solna.
About the Role
This is a central role in production where you act as the link between technology and manufacturing. You will work closely with daily production while contributing technical expertise in areas ranging from production aids and documentation to troubleshooting, calibration, and process improvements.
The role is broad and varied, meaning you will interact with large parts of the business. One day you might work on developing fixtures or updating production documentation, and the next day you support production with a technical question, perform calibrations, or participate in an improvement or development project.
You will become a key resource for the business and will gradually build a deep understanding of products, processes, and manufacturing flows. For the right person, there are good opportunities to develop and take on greater technical responsibility over time.
Job Description
- Provide technical support to production during troubleshooting and technical inquiries.
- Calibrate, maintain, and ensure the functionality of production equipment, tools, and technical aids.
- Develop, improve, and maintain fixtures, test adapters, and other production aids.
- Practical work with manufacturing, assembly, cable preparation, and some soldering.
- Participate in improvement and development projects related to production and manufacturing processes.
- Review, update, and create production documentation, instructions, and technical documentation.
- Handle receiving and dispatch controls as well as deviations and complaints.
- Be responsible for the company's measuring instrument register.
- Support the business with issues related to material flows, inbound deliveries, and outbound deliveries.
- Contribute to the development of working methods, quality, and efficiency in production.
Who We Are Looking For
You have a strong technical interest and are driven by understanding how products, processes, and production equipment work in practice. You thrive in a role where you can combine technical problem-solving with close collaboration with production and have the opportunity to contribute to both daily operations and long-term improvements.
We believe you have a technical education or equivalent experience from the manufacturing industry. Perhaps you currently work in electronics production, production technology, or technical maintenance. Regardless of your background, you have a good technical understanding, a structured approach to work, and a desire to develop together with the business.
As a person, you are unpretentious, curious, and solution-oriented. You find it easy to collaborate with others and appreciate a role where you can take responsibility, contribute ideas, and help the business move forward.
