Welcome to us
This autumn, PAF will begin its tenth academic year in historic premises on Stigbergsgatan 26. We are now established with three streams in the Natural Science program and four in the Economics program, and we are very pleased with the indicators such as student results, application pressure, and staff surveys.
We are keen to consolidate and develop our position in the city's educational landscape, and therefore we are now looking for you who want to work in a school with a highly competent staff and a clear school vision that permeates daily work.
Your role
We are building a school together with high expectations for students' goal achievement and a strong focus on the university-preparatory mission. The path there goes partly through knowledgeable and independent educators in the classroom and partly through collaboration within the entire staff. In other words, you are expected to be a natural leader in the classroom and an equally integral cog in our shared machinery.
Your qualifications and experience
A teaching qualification in mathematics for upper secondary school is required, as well as experience teaching high-achieving upper secondary students. Subject knowledge and the ability to convey it are central, along with an understanding of our specific student group and the entire teaching mission at our school.
Great importance is placed on personal qualities such as critical thinking, solution-focus, and independence combined with teamwork skills.
