Welcome to our LSS group home in the cozy area of Snättringe! We are now looking for a Support Assistant for a fixed-term position at 70% from September 1, 2026, to November 28, 2027. Five fantastic users live here, whom we have the privilege of supporting in their daily lives.

Within Functional Support in Huddinge Municipality, you get the chance to create a meaningful everyday life for the individuals we provide support and service to. As a support assistant, you will have an important role here. You provide support by motivating and being a role model in the daily work of the operation. Five support assistants, a supervisor, and a support pedagogue work at the facility.

Your responsibilities

As a support assistant, you work together with colleagues to provide our users with both pedagogical and practical support at home.

You will among other things:

• Provide individually adapted support in everyday life
• Perform nursing care and tasks that occur in a home
• Accompany users to activities outside the residence
• Motivate and inspire

As a support assistant, you become an important person in a context with many partners – relatives, guardians, habilitation, day activities, nurses, and rehabilitation. Good cooperation skills and communication are therefore essential.

Working hours

You work days, evenings, every other weekend, and on-call shifts according to the schedule.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for you who want to work with care, structure, and a big heart.

We see that you:

• Fluently master Swedish in speech and writing
• Are computer literate and can document
• Have relevant education, e.g., assistant nurse or childcare worker
• Have experience with the target group
• Have knowledge of low-affective handling and can manage challenging situations
• Work in a structured and pedagogical manner – our users need continuity and use AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication)
• Are responsible, flexible, and solution-oriented
• Enjoy collaborating and contributing to a positive and stable team
• Can handle physically active work

You will also be the contact person responsible for one user.
