Hello!

I am a 7-year-old boy living with my mom in Hammarbyhöjden. I have autism and ADHD, and we are now looking for a reliable substitute caregiver who wants to come hang out with me for 12 hours a month.

For me, clear communication, routines, and advance planning are important. I have a lot of energy and enjoy running and playing games like hide-and-seek or tag. It is great if my substitute enjoys being active and coming up with activities. You are welcome to think it is fun to play around, but it is important that you have a low-affective approach (calm demeanor) and can be helpful in social situations when playing with friends.

The plan is that we meet for 4 hours every other Sunday and two weekdays after school to do something together. It is a plus if you have experience working with children, but most importantly, you need to be reliable and interested in getting to know me.

As a substitute within Bambi, you are expected to take the initiative in educational and stimulating activities. Substitute care aims to relieve relatives regarding the care of the child with a disability and enable recovery.

You do not need previous experience in the profession, but it is a plus if you have experience with children or people with disabilities. As an employee at Bambi, you will have the opportunity for regular competence development and supervision, as we want you to feel secure in your role.

Salary:
Individual salary setting. Hourly/monthly salary. Collective agreement: Fremia-Kommunal.
You will also be offered induction, wellness benefits, supervision, and continuous competence development.

Start date:
By agreement. We are calling for interviews on an ongoing basis, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.

To be employed as a substitute or companion, you must have a valid extract from the criminal record. The police processing time can be up to two weeks - order your extract as soon as possible.
