Do you want to make a difference for people with psychosis? We are looking for a social worker for our psychosis team at the Psychiatric Specialist Clinic in Nacka!

We offer an exciting opportunity to become part of a dedicated team working to create a safer everyday life for people with psychosis and their relatives.

In 2026, Stockholm County Healthcare Services (SLSO) will launch Psychosis Care Stockholm – a newly formed organization that brings together all psychosis outpatient and inpatient units within SLSO into a single operation.

About the Psychosis Team

Our mission is to investigate and treat psychotic illnesses based on regional care programs and current care process maps. We offer multimodal treatment including medication, psychoeducation, psychological therapy, as well as occupational therapy and curative interventions.

Your work as a social worker

As a social worker in the psychosis team, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team. You will serve as the team's consultant in psychosocial matters and work independently with patients. In conversations with patients, you will assess their need for support and interventions from neighboring care providers and authorities collaborating with psychiatry, and coordinate resources for the patient at the appropriate agency.

The role involves collaboration with external parties such as the Swedish Public Employment Service, employers, the Swedish Social Insurance Agency, social services, and others.

Personal suitability is given great importance.

Qualifications – you:

  • Hold a degree in Social Work (Social Work).
  • Have experience working within psychiatry.
  • Are communicative, proactive, and have the ability to collaborate with different professional groups.

It is meritorious if you have a license as a Health and Social Care Social Worker.

What do we offer you?

The position is a permanent full-time employment, Monday–Friday 40 hours/week. Start date by agreement.

For us, it is important to have a secure and pleasant work environment where every employee has a stimulating work situation and, furthermore, enjoys their job.

You will also receive:

Benefits such as flexible working hours, wellness hour, wellness allowance of 5,000 SEK, salary exchange, and more. You can read more about the benefits available at slso.se.

We warmly welcome your application!

The position will be filled subject to the condition that it does not need to be reserved for internal reassignment, according to current regulations.

For patient-facing work within Stockholm County Healthcare Services:

  • A background check is applied before the decision on employment, according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for background checks upon employment.
  • Employees who will have patient contact must undergo a pre-employment health examination, according to current directives, which takes place through occupational health services before employment.
  • Good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is required, in addition to a Swedish professional license. The same requirement is guiding for non-licensed personnel with patient contact.
