About the Position

We are seeking a personal assistant for an adult living in Ekerö.

The client lives with dementia and requires support with all aspects of daily life as well as 24-hour supervision. The duties include personal care, mobility assistance, meal preparation, hygiene, and other daily activities.

The client lives with her family in a terraced house in Ekerö. The work is carried out in close cooperation with family members and other assistants.

As a personal assistant, you contribute to creating safety, structure, and a meaningful daily life based on the client's individual needs.

Responsibilities

• Active presence to prevent risky situations
• Support and help in daily life, both practically and socially
• Create a safe, harmonious, and positive environment

We are looking for someone who

• Is calm, reliable, and has a warm approach
• Has empathy, patience, and is responsive to the client's needs
• Is responsible and trustworthy
• Can take initiative and work independently
• Is observant and can think several steps ahead
• Has good teamwork skills
• Is flexible and can work varying hours
• Speaks and understands Swedish fluently

Merits

• Experience in personal assistance or work within healthcare and social care
• Knowledge of Somali is a plus

Employment Type

We are seeking hourly employees who can work on an as-needed basis.

Shifts are primarily scheduled for:

• 08:00–15:00
• 15:00–20:00

Evening shifts may extend beyond 20:00 if needed. Work is performed on weekdays and weekends.

We are looking for someone who is flexible and can step in when needed, even with short notice.
