About the role

Hello! I need your assistance to enable my active life. You will assist me with practical tasks, from transferring between mobility aids, hygiene, meals, exercise, dressing, and makeup, to household chores such as cleaning, laundry, and cooking. I am nineteen years old and starting my studies this autumn. Your job is to give me the conditions to be as independent as possible in my daily life and in this new, more independent chapter of life.

The work is physically active, and you need to be secure, reliable, and present in the moment, but also flexible and sometimes just be on hand without always needing to be actively engaged.

I am your workplace, so you will be with me wherever I am, for example, at home with family, at study sessions in various locations, or on outings with friends.

Qualifications and preferences

You are a woman around 25 years old who is calm and confident, sensitive to my needs, and has the will and interest to develop. Above all, you think it sounds fun to empower a young, smart girl and want to make a difference!

You speak good Swedish and can assist me in various situations, such as during exercise, during activities with friends, at mealtimes, or at home, always with the goal of giving me the opportunity to be as independent as possible.

We are looking for someone who can commit to working for at least 1 year, as we want to build a long-term and secure relationship. It is also advantageous if you have a driver's license.

Personal suitability is crucial as you will create a close relationship with me and need to advocate for me in all situations. Previous experience as a personal assistant is advantageous but not required.

The position

Day shifts, fixed schedule ratio of approx. 75–100%. The position can be expanded to other parts of the day if interest arises.

Other

You will receive a thorough introduction to assist me in a secure and personal manner. You will receive competence development in the form of training to both perform your duties and develop in the role. Of course, wellness benefits are included.

God Assistans cares for its assistants, has a collective agreement, and offers a wellness allowance of up to 4,000 SEK/year.

We will require a copy of a passport (SE) or residence permit (EU) or residence and work permit/LMA card (non-EU).
