NU Hospital, part of the Region of Västra Götaland, is one of Sweden's larger county hospitals. We are located at NÄL (Norra Älvsborg County Hospital) in Trollhättan and Uddevalla Hospital. Our catchment area covers 280,000 inhabitants. Together, we are approximately 5,000 employees working every day to provide good and safe specialist healthcare. We are located on the west coast, in an area offering varied nature with sea, mountains, forests, and lakes.

Do you want to join us?

You will be involved in creating an orthopedic ward that promotes the working environment with a climate where employees feel that "this is where I want to be!" In the team, the leading nurse works together with two nursing assistants.

The patients in the care group have varying levels of care needs, ranging from acute patients to more independent patients awaiting discharge. The working pace is fast and places high demands on competence and responsibility. You should find it easy to collaborate and communicate with different professions.

The work is varied, and the tasks revolve around pre- and postoperative care. Together, we build a work group characterized by a strong team spirit in a fast-paced and exciting operational area. Duty on other orthopedic wards may occur.

What do you envision?

In our work group, we actively work with respect, support, and we learn from each other. We value the patient's participation in the care processes. On the ward, we work together to achieve long-term sustainability and create a good working environment.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a qualified nursing assistant. You need to have qualities that contribute to a good working environment, respectful treatment, and a high level of engagement in the ward's work and development. Personal suitability is highly valued.
