About Us

Närhälsan Trollhättan rehabilitation clinic consists of 21 employees: 12 physiotherapists, 6 occupational therapists, 2 medical secretaries, one unit manager, and one assistant. We provide our patients with professional and considerate treatment. The clinic is centrally located in Trollhättan and collaborates with the municipality's six health centers, NU Hospital Region, and other healthcare providers.

We put the patient at the center through good accessibility, service, and high patient safety. The work is characterized by helpfulness, collaboration, and shared working methods. About the Job

Your tasks involve assessing and treating patients of all ages. Common conditions among the patients you encounter as an occupational therapist include: reduced hand function, pain, neurology, cognitive impairment, and mental ill health. The work also includes prescribing assistive devices and certificates for housing adaptations. Together with the patient, a personal rehabilitation plan is created.

The work is carried out at the clinic, digitally, and via home visits. Some work can be performed remotely. Patient treatment takes place both individually and in groups.

The work involves close collaboration with other professions, both within our own clinic and with other partners. You and your colleagues, together with the manager, are responsible for the development of the operations in a continuous improvement process.

About You

You are a licensed occupational therapist. If you have previous experience in the profession and primary care, it is an advantage, but we also welcome newly graduated candidates.

We are looking for someone who is sensitive, has good communication skills, and can identify individuals' unique needs as you meet many different people. Furthermore, you see collaboration with colleagues and other partners as a natural and important part of the work, which you perform with engagement and professionalism. You can plan your work in an efficient and organized manner based on the operations' goals. The workload may vary at times and be affected by unforeseen events, which requires flexibility. However, we actively work together to support each other in daily life.

You place great importance on good treatment and always strive to treat patients and colleagues with respect and consideration. We also expect you to live up to Närhälsan's core values: Reliable, Considerate, and Innovative.

• Travel for work purposes occurs. A driver's license (Category B) is required.

About the Recruitment Process

Selection takes place in two steps. The first selection is made by recruiters in the HR department who invite candidates to a telephone interview. Thereafter, the hiring manager makes a second selection of the applicants and invites them to an interview at the clinic.

We use competency-based interviews, which means that answers to questions should be based on actual situations. It is important that you describe as concrete situations as possible and try to avoid generalized answers – this is so that we can understand the situation, why you acted as you did, and what the result was.
