We are now looking for an autonomous dental hygienist who wants to make a difference

Main tasks and responsibilities

At Folktandvården Ulricehamn, you will meet patients of all ages with various care needs. As a dental hygienist with us, you play a key role in ensuring that patients feel well-treated and secure during their visit. You will utilize your full range of competencies, while the role also demands creativity, empathy, and a service-oriented mindset.

We work in a positive atmosphere where teamwork and business development are natural elements. We find challenges and innovative thinking exciting and strive to engage all employees in the clinic's development work. We also believe it is important to have fun at work.

The position includes among other things:

• Being a vital part of the clinic's health-promoting and preventive dental care for all ages
• Conducting own examinations and identifying, assessing, and planning appropriate oral health care measures
• Mobile dental care at nursing homes

Competency requirements and profile

• Registered Dental Hygienist
• Interest in both pediatric and adult dentistry
• Swedish language skills equivalent to Swedish upper secondary school or Swedish C1 in both speech and writing
• Ability to organize and prioritize work in an efficient and smart manner
• Ability to give a stable and calm impression even when there is a lot to do
• Ability to collaborate and relate to other people in a listening and empathetic way

If you are new to the profession, you will receive an individually tailored supervision program during your first year. The supervision program is part of our three-year development program with up to 18 days of competence development.

About the recruitment process

If you are not already employed by us, you will be contacted by recruiters from the HR unit for an interview. After the application period ends, the clinic manager will select candidates and invite them for an interview at the clinic. These interviews are scheduled for week 26.

Folktandvården Västra Götalandsregionen conducts checks in the suspicion and burden registers before employment.
