About the Workplace

Vårdcentralen Kusten operates in the western part of Kungälv municipality; Ytterby, Kärna, and Marstrand, with approximately 19,800 registered patients. We are a private healthcare center within Praktikertjänst AB.

Familjehuset Klippan is a clinic focused on the mental health of children and young people (UPH). The activity is an additional assignment within the primary care center choice for Kungälv municipality and surrounding municipalities. It is an open clinic with a specific mandate to care for children and young people aged 6-18 with mental health issues.

The team consists of several psychologists and social workers, with additional resources from the healthcare center as needed, such as occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and doctors. The main focus is on short-term treatment interventions, individually, in groups, or internet-based. The purpose is to strengthen care for children and young people with mild to moderate mental health issues and to support local primary care centers through consultation and supervision.

We have an integrated working approach together with Kungälv Municipality. Familjehuset Klippan is a collaboration between Vårdcentralen Kusten, Region Västra Götaland, and Kungälv Municipality.

Familjehuset is located a 1-2 minute walk from Ytterby station/bus stop. The train to/from Gothenburg takes approximately 20 minutes.

Job Responsibilities

Due to upcoming extended parental leave, we are now looking for you who are interested in a one-year temporary position as a licensed psychologist, starting from early autumn or earlier.

Your responsibilities include providing advice and support, as well as assessment and treatment of children and young people aged 6-18 with mild to moderate mental health issues. Interventions are conducted in groups or individually within a family context. The work will be carried out in collaboration with social services, school health services, and neighboring care providers. You will receive collegial support from colleagues on-site, with regular team meetings.

Qualifications

You are a licensed psychologist with competence and experience or interest in working with children and young people aged 6-18. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Other Information

Interviews are conducted continuously, and the temporary position can be filled immediately if qualifications are met.

Start date: September 1, 2026, or earlier.
