About us

Närhälsan Hentorp Health Centre is a pleasant clinic with approximately 7,700 registered patients. We are a work group of approximately 30 employees who value collaboration and a sense of team spirit. We are attentive and work hard to ensure that every professional category feels job security. An example of this is the supervising physician who is available daily.

The health centre is located in a nature-friendly area, a short bike ride from the city centre. The clinic offers doctor and nurse consultations, a diabetes clinic, an asthma/COPD clinic, Child Health Services (BVC), and a mental health clinic. We have close cooperation with Närhälsan's rehabilitation clinic, midwifery clinic, and youth clinic.

About the job

Your main tasks involve assessing and treating mental and behavioral health issues within the framework of primary care. The focus is on preventive and early interventions, based on common reasons for seeking care at a health centre. You work based on the needs of the registered population, utilizing digital care meetings, internet-based and group therapy, as well as physical individual visits.

We work according to primary care-oriented methods, which include high accessibility, stepped/stratified care, and collaboration with other professions and care partners. It is important that you have an interest in working in primary care, which means prioritizing high accessibility for all residents with mental and behavioral health issues. Interventions range from psychoeducation and advice on self-care, to guided treatment with literature or internet therapy, to group therapy or individual treatment measures. To meet the needs of the entire patient population, the ability to vary the method and scope of treatment interventions is required.

You and your colleagues, together with the manager, are responsible for the development of the health centre in a continuous improvement process. Supervision of psychology candidates or PTP-psychologists may be relevant.

About you

You are a licensed psychologist with Step 1 CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) competence; other orientations are, of course, also possible. It is an advantage if you have experience from the following:

  • Work as a psychologist at the primary care level
  • Stepped/stratified care
  • Internet-based psychological treatment
  • Group therapy

We are looking for someone who is attentive and accommodating, with good communication skills and the ability to identify individuals' unique needs. Through initiative and active engagement, you want to participate in the development of the operations and contribute as a consultative resource in the daily interdisciplinary collaboration at the health centre.

Travel for work purposes occurs; a B-class driver's license is required.

The position involves working at Närhälsan Hentorp Health Centre, as well as Närhälsan Tidan Health Centre and Närhälsan Södra Ryd Health Centre.

About the recruitment process

Selection takes place in two steps. The first selection is made by recruiters in the HR department, who invite relevant candidates to a telephone interview. The recruiting manager then makes a second selection of the applicants and invites them to an interview at the health centre.

We use competency-based interviews, which means that answers to questions should be based on actual situations. It is important that you describe concrete situations as much as possible and try to avoid generalized answers – this is so that we can understand the situation, why you acted as you did, and what the result was.
