Welcome to a dedicated team at Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (BUP) within Skaraborg Hospital, which is looking to strengthen its staff with an additional dietitian.

The Department

BUP Skaraborg is responsible for specialized psychiatric care for children and adolescents associated with our outpatient clinics in Mariestad and Skövde, as well as emergency responsibilities. We see children and adolescents aged 0–18 years and their families.

Here, a multidisciplinary team consisting of administrative staff, occupational therapists, dietitians, social workers, speech therapists, doctors, psychologists, psychotherapists, nurses, and assistant nurses works with a focus on providing our patients with the best possible care. We have an open climate, high competence, and a strong focus on both patient and employee well-being.

Job Responsibilities

As a dietitian here, you will be part of our multidisciplinary nutrition team. You will work with assessing, investigating, and treating patients based on individual needs. The role also includes leading group activities and working in a consultative capacity with colleagues at the clinic.

The work involves close collaboration with other professional categories and an active role in the development of nutrition work within the department.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed dietitian.

Experience from working in healthcare, preferably within child and adolescent psychiatry or other specialist operations, is meritorious.

You have a good ability to work independently while thriving in collaboration with other professions. Personal suitability is highly valued, where we appreciate a structured approach, good communication skills, and a patient-centered attitude.

Other Information

Since the work sometimes takes place outside the clinic, a B-class driver's license is desirable.

In appointments within psychiatry, we request extracts from the suspicion and criminal record register. This request is handled by the employer.
